random thoughts on the new color of m&ms...

first off, you have your primary colors...a nice red, blue and yellow. (now I know that blue was not an original color, but it should have been, how they overlooked it is beyond me!)  these three colors add a boldness to the bag and keep it plain at the same time.  Next, we have the colors green, brown and orange.  Personally, I'm not a fan of these colors beside the orange, but at the same time, a bag of M&MS would not be the same...these colors are also fairly simple and bold, pleasing to young eyes.  Given these fine looking colors, why does the Mars company think that they need to add another color to the mix?  No one can answer that question except MR. MARS himself...now I have called him and asked for an interview over lunch, but he wouldn't pay for my plane ticket back to the states so I am forced to gather my own conclusions at home...Maybe they thought that the bag was plain, but honestly, i liked the colors just the way they were...no colors were better than the other and no color gave you a sick to your stomach feel when you look at it *as pink has a tendency to do to me*...but no...this was not good enough...a few months ago, the world was faced with a very important decision...no, not anything on global warming...this decision is much much larger...which color to add to the m&ms bag--Pink, Purple or Teal...personally, i like teal...pink can go hang out in tas's room...and purple...well...maybe pink will be nice and bring him along...but no! Mr. Mars had a different idea for these colors...one of them would be chosen for the high honor of being included in a bag of M&Ms.  I have many problems with these color choices. ONE: they are too tame...not like the bold colors of Blue or Red, no...these colors are less likely to jump out at you and say "eat me! I have a nice purty color on!"
TWO: the colors are too girly...ew!  PINK! PURPLE> TEAL!?  what kinds of colors are these? I don't want a pink and chocolate tongue!
THREE: its just not right...
so, the world has voted...thank goodness that less than 20 countries voted for pink, the world would not be a happy place with the addition of pink...unfortunately though, the world has chosen purple to have the M&Ms honor...I am sadly disappointed in the voting abilities of those around the world...PURPLE?! its a light purple too...not even dark bold strong purple...no, this should be called violet...*sigh...*
as you can see, I am quite saddened by the colors in an M&M bag now...
